EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER EMERGENCY. Unfortunately, the City of Parkersburg has had to cancel the upcoming American Wind Symphony Orchestra’s appearances due to the recent storm and the ongoing cleanup in the Historic District and throughout the city.
Please pass the word to any one who might be interested in coming to the Tuesday, July 10, 2012 Mid-Summer’s Eve Victorian Stroll–A Progressive Concert in the Historic District. We hope to have the wonderful Orchestra come back at a later date.
Julia-Ann Square presents “A Mid-Summer Eve’s Victorian Stroll: A Progressive Concert.” Musicians from the American Wind Symphony Orchestra will be performing mini concerts at five historic sites beginning at the First United Methodist Church.
Tour Guides in period attire will take guests to the different homes where musicians will play selections. Three of the mini concerts will be inside and two will be on the lawns. Light dessert will be served at one of the venues.
Come stroll through our Historic District and enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds.
